Amber’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in School Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles. Amber has been practicing as a school psychologist in Arizona for the past 14 years. During this time, Amber has served in a variety of roles, including lead psychologist and special programs coordinator. Amber has helped establish the district’s Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) program and develop specialized programs for students with disabilities. Amber continues postgraduate work, as she completed the Applied Educational Neuroscience certificate program at Butler University as well as Dr. Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Education. Amber strives to help teams better understand a student’s unique learning profile.Outside of work, Amber enjoys traveling with her family and watching her two children compete in sports.
